How it all started...

December 15, 1939, saw the rise of six privately owned, non-profit radio stations that did not engage in any form of commercial broadcasting. Formed by amateur radio operators, these stations became the foundation for what would eventually become the Hoosier Lakes Radio Club. The six operators were:

The Hoosier Lakes Radio Club was formed in 1951 by a group of local amateur radio operators and electronic experimenters. Some of the charter members were (names to be added later, along with photos and additional history, if possible.)
